Office Design of the Week- Rustic Modern Male

This week I decided to have fun with some great decor pieces I found by Cyan Design. They have a whole series of modern, abstract animal sculptures that I used to create this fun and luxurious take on modern meets rustic. The gray tones in the cowhide rug by @Surya create a great foundation for this style of room. The office furnishings are from Riverside Furniture. The Clinton Hill set in black is beautiful in either a masculine or feminine setting, but I took it masculine to show you a different design style. The wall color by Sherwin Williams is called Heartthrob SW6866. It pairs very well with gray and black, creams or jewel tones. The focal point in this room is the funky, modern take on a horned animal head. I like the symbolism it carries, with the man that owns this room being the hunter; a powerful position in life! It has an aura of success and achievement, yet looks nothing that the typical taxidermy you see in a hunter’s room. I also like showing you that we can use metals and interpretations of pieces, so it feels more contemporary, yet still has a rustic charm to it.
